The annual ITAIS conference is the major event for the Italian Information Systems community, providing a forum for researchers from both academia and industry to engage in discussions and exchange experiences.
ITAIS 2022 aimed to bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, and students to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results on all aspects of information systems. The conference also explored the practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in this field.
ITAIS 2022 was organized as a joint event with the Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems in Catanzaro (ITAIS&MCIS2022) The success of the participation in previous editions of the joint event was confirmed, with more than 140 submissions from Italian and international researchers distributed between ItAIS and MCIS contributions. Among the approximately 90 ItAIS submissions, 70 contributions were accepted for presentation at the conference following a double-blind review process. However, 42 of them were invited for publication in the Springer LNISO book series or other further outlets.
Twenty-eight contributions are published in the enclosed proceedings and have been assigned the following ISBN: 978-88-87173-05-5
