Abstract
This panel report presents the insights from the keynote speech and the subsequent panel discussion held during the New England Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (NEAIS 2025). The keynote speaker and panelists include five journal editors and prominent IS scholars, whose speeches and discussion cover the impacts of AI on every step of a full research cycle, including new research topics, theory development, methods, and publication processes. This report presents four key themes emerging from the discussion: theory development with AI, AI-enhanced research methods, transdisciplinary thinking with AI, and AI and knowledge artifacts. We then summarize five key takeaways for the information systems community.
