Getting Involved with CAIS

As the primary communications outlet for the Association for Information Systems, CAIS is an integral part of the AIS community, and there are many ways to become involved.

Start by Publishing with CAIS

Submit your best work to CAIS. Becoming a CAIS author is perhaps the best way to get to know the journal, its mission, and the community it serves.

Contribute as a CAIS Reviewer

Reviewing is another excellent way to get involved. It allows you to contribute directly to the development of research published in CAIS while becoming familiar with our editorial process. If you are an active researcher in information systems and are interested in reviewing for CAIS, send your CV to the Editor-in-Chief. When your expertise aligns with our review needs, we will be happy to consider adding you to our reviewer pool.

Interested in Becoming an Associate Editor?

Associate Editors are entrusted with an important role in serving the journal. We, therefore, normally appoint AEs who have substantial reviewing experience and are already familiar with CAIS and other information systems journals.

Experience as a CAIS author and reviewer is particularly valuable. If you have this background and would like to contribute as an Associate Editor, send your CV to the Editor-in-Chief to enquire about vacancies in your area of expertise.

Because CAIS is a community journal, involvement with CAIS and the wider AIS community is the natural pathway to editorial service.
