Abstract
Our three-year tenure as co-Editors-in-Chief concluded on 31 May 2026. We echo the sentiments of previous editors – it has been a career highlight and privilege to be entrusted with serving our IS community in this role. During our tenure, we introduced a number of changes and learned much in the process. In this editorial, we reflect on our experience of change and innovation in academic publishing.
