The global healthcare landscape presents many challenges, among them growing chronic disease, obesity, substance abuse, mental health and aging populations. Critical roles continue to evolve for healthcare information systems (IS) and technology (IT). Telehealth, telemedicine, and remote patient monitoring have become indispensable for accessible, scalable healthcare delivery. Integrating artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and big data analytics into diagnostics and public health opens new frontiers for disease prediction and personalized treatment.
