Abstract
This webinar will discuss the 2013 AIS Best Information Systems Publications Award winning paper “Social Network Effects on Productivity and Job Security: Evidence from the Adoption of a Social Networking Tool" by Lynn Wu, Information Systems Research, Wharton School.
Lynn will discuss the impact of enterprise social media adoption on the work outcomes of information workers. Not only can social media technology actively change one’s social
network at work, they can also have a substantial impact on work outcomes through the network change.
In this webinar, Lynn will quantify these effects as well as explore intermediate mechanism that drives the performance change.
