Abstract

The advancement of digitization has improved the quality of public services and the efficiency of organizational processes, according to earlier research. However, a number of factors affect how effective digital technologies are in the public sector. On e of the most crucial prerequisites for digital transformation is seen to be user pleasure. The purpose of this article is to examine the factors that influence public sector information systems (IS) adoption and user satisfaction. Data were collected by 498 IS users of many organizations in the Greek public sector and analyzed using Ordinal Regression Analysis. For practitioners working on the development of such systems, the results in this research provide insightful information. These realizations can improve the efficiency of their job and motivate them to take these factors into account when developing and putting into place similar systems in the public sector
