Journal of Information Systems Education

Abstract

Students learn at different rates and in different ways and educators should address various levels of cognition. Management Information Systems are abstract in nature, and therefore it is important to engage students at many levels of cognition to maximize learning. I have adopted Bloom’s Taxonomy and the Piaget Model of Cognitive Processes in teaching Management Information Systems concepts. The paper will discuss the application of these models to the teaching of Management Information Systems concepts.
