Description

Because of the dangers that the COVID 19 Pandemic presented to traditional higher education classroom environments, universities had to rapidly deploy new or modified strategies to ensure safe and effective continuation of instruction of students. This article seeks to evaluate, and ultimately improve the effectiveness of these solutions by comparing the perspectives of the organization and the users, using two studies. The organizational viewpoint study consists of interviews of the institutional administrative staff. The user viewpoint study captures user acceptance of these new IT solutions. In contrast to most previous Technology Adoption Model (TAM) studies, we approach the new IT artifact not as a singular technology but as a portfolio of technologies consisting of features and functions.
