Abstract

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is moving faster than we think, and neither Academia nor Industry is prepared for it. We must prepare ourselves and our students to understand, live, and work with this technology. This panel is meant to set the ground for developing the basic course that all students should take on Generative AI. This course is not about developing but leveraging and using Generative AI. Panelists will first present their ideas for the course and then answer questions from the moderator. However, the panel will also be open to questions and suggestions from the audience so that, in the end, we can have a comprehensive idea of what such a course must include. Given how fast this technology is developing and how drastic and all-encompassing the effects are, undergraduate and graduate curricula must be discussed.
