Abstract
This study explores the factors influencing the migration of Taiwanese enterprises information systems to the cloud. Combining the technology organisation environment framework, innovation diffusion theory, and the organisation’s innovative culture, a research model was proposed to identify the determinants. Data from 246 Taiwanese enterprises were analysed using SPSS 20.0 and Smart PLS3. Resultingly, technological, organisational, and environmental factors and the organisation’s innovative culture impact cloud migration in different stages of innovation diffusion. This study is novel because it considered the impact of an innovative culture, thereby extending the existing literature on cloud migration of information systems. It also provided a base for future studies and cloud computing and services for business and economics both of academic and practical.
