Abstract
Workers in crowdsourcing platforms suffer from poor working conditions, including low hourly income and difficulty in communicating with job requesters. Research has revealed the great potential for worker collaboration to enhance overall effectiveness and engagement. Following the Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM), this study aims to develop the design principles and a conceptual framework for the information systems that allow microtask workers to collaborate as a team.
