Abstract

Given the inconsistent findings about AI’s impact on knowledge performance, we propose a study to explain the patterns and consequences of AI usage in educational environments. A conceptual model is developed to hypothesize how knowledge workers' individual factors could potentially influence their interactions with and usage of AI. We also explore the effects of AI usage on knowledge management outcomes. Verified results will contribute to the field by clarifying pathways leading to optimized benefits of AI for knowledge management, particularly in education systems.
