Abstract

In this response to Wheeler, Marakas, and Brinkley, Roy Dunbar of Eli Lilly comments on the complementary approach to education undertaken by BAT: the education of IT professionals on business, and the education of IT clients on technology. He commends BAT on this approach as it ad-dresses the fundamental problems that organizations face as they attempt to strategically align IT with more traditional business functions.
