About ISD2025 Belgrade

The 33rd International Conference on Information Systems Development (ISD 2025) was held from September 3-5, 2025 in Belgrade. Established in 1988, ISD has consistently provided a collaborative space for researchers, practitioners, and educators to share insights and engage in discussions on the latest advancements, trends, experiences, and challenges of information system development. The theme for ISD 2025 was "Empowering the Interdisciplinary Role of ISD in Addressing Contemporary Issues in Digital Transformation: How Data Science and Generative AI Contributes to ISD".

From a total of 295 submissions (excluding 3 journal-first submissions), 48 full papers, 54 short papers, and 55 posters were selected following a rigorous double-blind review process involving at least 3 Program Committee members. The acceptance rates were as follows:

  • Full papers: 16.3%
  • Full and short papers combined: 34.6%
  • Full papers, short papers, and posters combined: 53.2%.

The technical program was further enriched by inspiring keynote lectures from three distinguished speakers:

  • Jelena Zdravković: Designing Three Rs of Digital Business Ecosystems: Roles, Responsibilities, and Resilience, and
  • Hans-Georg Fill: Lost in Generation: The Hidden Cost of AI and the Power of Conceptual Modeling.

Additionally, a tutorial by Wilfrid Utz and Iulia Vaidian on "Enhancing Agility in Business Model Design using Digital Twins: The Scene2Model Approach to Design Thinking" provided practical insights into the evolving landscape of digital innovation.
