Abstract

The data assets of application-oriented universities have characteristics such as practice-oriented, university-enterprise collaboration, and skill correlation. Their value creation is different from that of research-oriented universities and enterprise data, and is more reflected in non-monetary scenarios such as practical teaching and industry-education integration. This study constructs a “full life cycle - value dimension” matrix analysis framework to reveal the intrinsic logic of data transitioning from raw resources to knowledge assets, and points out that the university-enterprise collaborative data value chain is the core driving force, and the value presentation is non-monetary and scenario-dependent. In response to the reality of fragmented collection, isolated storage, shallow application, and missing archiving, paths such as establishing university-enterprise collaborative collection standards, building a data middle platform, developing scenario-driven data products, and constructing knowledge transformation mechanisms are proposed. The study provides theoretical references for the digital transformation of application-oriented universities.
