Abstract
This conceptual paper explores the application of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra to analyze the behavioral patterns in ICT4D projects in India. The study proposes a framework based on the postures and states of Chitta, highlighting the role of indigenous theoretical perspectives in information systems research. Findings reveal that stakeholders frequently employ inappropriate behavioral analysis tools, leading to trust issues in ICT4D projects. The study contributes to ongoing debates on decolonizing information systems research.
