Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the cornerstone of Industry 5.0 (I5.0), seamlessly connecting human-centric values with innovative technology. However, a research gap exists in understanding the adoption of AI-supported I5.0 concerning institutional and innovative beliefs, recognized as pivotal pillars. This study addresses this gap by employing a quantitative survey of 327 employees. The findings reveal that normative environmental and regulative organizational pillars and factors such as relative advantage and technology compatibility exert a significant positive impact. Conversely, cognitive individual pillars significantly negatively influence AI-supported I5.0 adoption. This insight contributes to the evolving landscape of AI-driven industrial shifts, emphasizing the importance of specific beliefs in shaping adoption dynamics. The study’s implications extend to guiding organizations in leveraging AI within the framework of I5.0 for enhanced technological integration.
