Abstract
This article provides a bibliometric analysis of Blockchain literature, highlighting its diverse applications, from finance to supply chain management and agricultural product traceability. It aims to map the scientific contributions of Blockchain over the past decade. The study examines publications indexed in the Web of Science from 2014 to 2024 using the keyword "Blockchain". Data analysed includes authors' countries, affiliations, collaborations, publication language, and years, utilising R Studio® and the Bibliometrix® package. Results indicate a steady increase in Blockchain research from 2015 to 2022, with a drop in 2023. Key categories are "Computer Science Information Systems", "Engineering Electrical Electronic", and "Computer Science Theory Methods". China, India, and the USA are the top contributors, with English as the predominant publication language. Leading authors include Zhang Y., Wang Y., and Liu Y., with Satoshi Nakamoto authoring the most cited documents. This analysis seeks to guide future Blockchain research, particularly in underexplored fields.
