Abstract

This study aimed to analyse the impacts of the Moodle platform on teachers' work processes at the Polytechnic Institute of Beja, during their daily activities. Questionnaires were applied to assess the perception of teaching users regarding seven dimensions of work processes: productivity; management control; student satisfaction; innovation; decision making; quality of information; security of information and, teacher satisfaction. The data were processed and treated using descriptive and multivariate statistical analysis techniques.

The results revealed that the dimension with the highest impact was the student satisfaction and the one with lower impact was decision making. It was possible to identify three groups of user teachers and analyse the impact dimensions of the use of Moodle in each group. It was also possible to verify that all identified sociodemographic variables carry differences between groups.
