Description
Artificial Intelligence (AI) research has gained popularity for its ability to support a learning-training environment in education (LTEE). The field of education has been recently embraced by AI-based learning technologies and platforms. Approaches based on AI-assisted learning may result in unwanted outcomes. Therefore, to enhance the implementation of AI considering the LTEE, we need to study real use cases to manage the value propositions of already available platforms. This paper aims to understand AI-assisted learning using a multi-case analysis method. Results suggest that three out of the four qualities and functions common to the AI-based learning platforms are – User acceptance, Appealing GUI, and Relevant Information. Additionally, three out of five value propositions are common to these platforms that are – Broad Application, Cost Reduction, and Process Efficiency. This study will help the academic community and businesses in the education sector understand and formulate appropriate strategies to enhance AI implementation in LTEE.
