Description
According to the United Nations, society should undergo some changes in the coming years, such as its growth, the increase in urbanization and the agglomeration in urban areas. This creates the need for municipalities to innovate their management, so that they can more efficiently meet the growing demand of their population for services. Thus, smart cities become an alternative, as they make use of intelligent technologies, seeking for sustainable development at economic, social and environmental levels. The objective of this work is, in a comparative way, to understand the main similarities and differences between the evaluation models developed in Brazil and around the world. Thus, it make it possible to identify which aspects are considered fundamental for Smart Cities in the literature, as well as this reality for Brazilian authors. For this, Brazilian and foreign models were selected, which were compared in various aspects of their construction.
