Description
Blockchain has substantial promise and foreseeable benefits for users and society, industries, and organizations. The blockchain economy is booming, although the technology is at its infancy stage. While organizations strive for digital transformation and innovations, empirical findings of blockchain implementation have been scattered. This study aims to identify the driving forces and barriers to implementing blockchain technology in business operations. This study performed a pilot systematic literature review to understand the common themes of empirical blockchain implementation and adoption in the literature. This paper reports this pilot literature review’s initial results and lays a foundation for further research development.
