Abstract
Business transformation is a priority for organisations, requiring numerous interconnected initiatives for success. Organisational transformation demands ambidexterity: balancing business performance targets with delivery of change outcomes. Yet, organisations often struggle to assess transformation success because traditional performance indicators provide little visibility into the role of organisational behaviour. This project will develop an integrated framework combining organisational behavioural and performance metrics with advanced business data analytics for assessing and enhancing the capability and effectiveness of interconnected and multi-faceted business transformation initiatives. The research pursues three objectives. First, it defines a set of behavioural and performance metrics to measure the capability and outcomes of multi-initiative transformation programs. Second, it develops data analytics and process intelligence tools for monitoring and prediction of transformation outcomes. Third, it derives evidence-based transformation guidelines to support sustainable change. The framework will provide organisations with actionable, evidence-driven tools to improve the long-term effectiveness of complex interconnected transformation initiatives.
