Abstract
Abstract Teaching data visualization consists of two parts: how to create visuals with a particular tool, and how to design the effective visuals. Regardless of the teaching tools or design principles, the most effective way to teach visualization is to demonstrate the process in videos. I created Youtube videos with a lab instructor for our classes. Our Youtube videos include Power BI, Excel and R. The Youtube videos of Excel are specially designed for entry level IS classes.
