Description

This paper aims to review collaborative governance and related theories in digital transformation. The study used the bibliometric analysis methodology to extract and analyze 693 journal articles from the Web of Science database. The bibliometric analysis included bibliographic coupling and co-word to provide a science mapping of the knowledge structure on collaborative governance and related theories. Moreover, the study discusses publications related to Dynamic Capability, Innovation Diffusion, Institutional theory, Relational view, Stakeholder theory, and TOE theory to provide insight into using digital platforms to facilitate the collaboration spirit. The findings of the study include six suggestions for scholars who are studying digital transformation through collaborative governance from multiple views of IS theories. The present trend indicates that most themes are categorized towards managing an integrated framework and collaborative innovation, the impact of digital transformation on organizational performance, and governing robust IT adoption.
