Abstract
Research Question: What are the key factors that shape the decision-making frameworks of Australian public sector organizations in developing risk management strategies to address possible disasters arising from Information System (IS) failures? Subsidiary questions arising from this, and which will help further focus the study, are: Do these factors vary across organizational and industry contexts? How is preparedness to deal with possible IS-related disasters interpreted by key decision-makers within public sector organizations?
