Abstract
Although there is general acknowledgement that socio-psychological forces have important implications for knowledge management, they are difficult to conceptualise and analyse. This paper presents framework for studying socio-psychological forces in knowledge activities. The utility of the framework is demonstrated by applying it to a case study that examines the impact of national culture on the knowledge activities of a small software development team.
