Abstract
Process models are widely used by organizations to map their business processes and to gain a better understanding of how businesses are run. However, process models often only capture the flow of activities and do not describe specifically what type of knowledge is required to run these processes. The case studies espoused show how knowledge can be integrated into process models by using an existing framework. Participants in the case studies have not only been interviewed but also encouraged to participate in capturing knowledge for their respective business processes.
