The 17th Annual MWAIS Conference was held in person on May 16th & 17th, 2022 in Omaha, Nebraska. Sponsored by the AIS MWAIS chapter, the conference was hosted by the University of Nebraska at Omaha's College of Information Science & Technology. The theme of the 17th MWAIS Annual Conference was "Translational IS/T Research". The MWAIS conference included completed research papers, research-in-progress papers, extended abstracts, posters, and three panels (including an industry CxO/CIO panel and Senior Scholars panel). MWAIS 2022 provided opportunities for PhD candidates and faculty to have stimulating conversations in emerging and current areas of IS research.
