Abstract
Policy formulation is a cornerstone in cybersecurity management, and in the ever-evolving cyber landscape, the policymaking process must be agile and adaptable. This crucial imperative introduces fresh challenges to an already intricate governance environment. From in-depth interviews with cybersecurity practitioners, we identify four primary cyber risk areas that underscore the need for agility in policymaking. Based on insights from our interviewees, we provide actionable recommendations for enhancing the agility and adaptability of cybersecurity policymaking processes.
