Abstract
As digital technologies reshape how companies create value propositions, organiza- tional success and survivability will increasingly depend on continuous innovation and digital transformation. Gradually, organizations are adopting low-code development to fuel digital transformation and to increase responsiveness and customer orien- tation while counterbalancing a shortage of software developers. We describe the journeys of two early adopters of low-code development. Based on insights from these cases and interviews with executives from other organizations, we provide recommen- dations for adopting low-code development.
