Abstract
Industry-academic collaboration is a strategic necessity in today's fragmented and turbulent economy. Advisory boards offer an effective way to achieve mutually beneficial and sustained collaboration. This article is based on in-depth case studies and comparisons of four advisory boards in U.S. colleges that offer IS programs.
