Journal of the Midwest Association for Information Systems (JMWAIS)

Aims & Scope

JMWAIS facilitates scholarly communication and serves as a journal of record in the field of Information System and Technology. JMWAIS publishes traditional research scholarship, teaching scholarship, and the scholarship of practice. JMWAIS publishes traditional empirical and literature review articles, research case studies, action research projects, and teaching cases. The journal is also a forum for viewpoint articles and letters of comment and critique. Substantive tutorials on a topic, technique, or method may also be appropriate. As a not-for-profit journal of a professional association, authors retain the copyright to articles in the JMWAIS open access journal. All manuscripts submitted to JMWAIS go through a double-blind review process. When an author submits an article to JMWAIS the title and abstract of the article is made available to the entire Editorial Board (EB). Any member of the EB may volunteer to review the manuscript and provide constructive feedback for transmission to the author(s). The Editor-in-Chief assigns at least two reviewers for each article. We strive for rapid turnaround of manuscripts and publication of relevant, timely scholarly articles.
