Abstract

This article presents the development of AgriUrbis, a technological solution aimed at promoting and managing urban planting. The mobile application is designed to assist individuals with little or no prior experience in growing their own food in urban areas, offering accessible content, tutorials, reminders, and planting support tools. The methodology included a preliminary investigation, involving an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms in June 2025, which gathered approximately 40 valid responses from different regions of Brazil. The data obtained enabled the definition of the application's core functionalities. Currently in the prototyping phase, AgriUrbis aims to promote sustainability, food autonomy, and community engagement. Expected outcomes include increased interest in urban cultivation, improvements in users' quality of life, and positive impacts on socio-environmental practices in cities.
