Abstract
This article aims to report the process of designing and implementing a methodology based on Lean UX in a Brazilian public organization. Design Science Research and case study were used as methods, involving focus groups, questionnaire application, and process observations for data collection. The developed methodology, named PDMS Lean UX, was validated by team leaders and developers, and was considered easy to understand and suitable for the context in terms of roles, phases, and artifacts. So far, observed benefits include increased agility in the development process, greater alignment of products with user needs, and improved collaboration and communication between analysts and developers. It is expected that PDMS Lean UX will comply with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and be applied to other contexts for further validation and generalization.
