Abstract

The study aims to propose strategies to enhance the adoption of IT governance, based on the analysis of a survey that identifies trends in organizations. A semi structured survey was conducted to IT professionals of Colombian companies between 2019 and 2022. A total of 252 responses were collected and 237 records were analyzed. The research covers variables such as the characterization of organizations, IT strategic alignment, projections and impact of IT projects, as well as the use of emerging technologies. The results of this study will provide an understanding of current practices and offer practical recommendations to improve the adoption and effectiveness of IT governance, contributing to a more efficient management aligned with the strategic objectives of organizations.
