Abstract

The objective of this work was to detail the characteristics that make up the digital transformation through dimensions and aspects that underline this process, with a view to understanding, in a concrete way, the stage and advances of companies and economic sectors in this country in their journey of transformation. To achieve this goal, this work consists of an analysis of the current positioning and advancement of the digital transformation of companies and economic sectors in Brazil, using as a database the news published in online vehicles about this subject, which disclose the concrete achievements of the companies in this process. The “Finance”, “Consumer Goods” and “General Retail” sectors were observed as the most advanced sectors in the process of digital transformation in Brazil
