The Professional Development Workshops (PDW) Track will facilitate 90-minute sessions that actively engage ICIS participants to develop, update, and enhance their professional skills in research and teaching. We invite PDW proposals for expert-led, active learning on topics, theories, or methods related to IS research or teaching. In addition to conceptual discussions, we welcome demos and practical interaction with systems.
This year, we are especially interested in PDWs that tackle how AI is changing the nature of research. This is an issue that all scientific fields face. We call for PDWs willing to challenge our field to think boldly, differently, and imaginatively. How can the IS research field stay on the front foot as AI changes the many elements of the research workflow (from ideation to impact and back again).
