This track explores the transformative interface of Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT), blockchain, and modern FinTech systems such as in Decentralized Finance (DeFi). As Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become deeply embedded in financial infrastructures, digital markets, and decentralized ecosystems, this track also emphasizes the critical role of AI, including machine learning, LLMs, agentic AI, and autonomous systems, in shaping the emergence, operation, and governance of DLT- and FinTech-based innovations. We invite research that connects the foundational infrastructure of DLT/blockchain (consensus, tokenization, decentralization, interoperability) with the evolving economic and business models, regulatory/legal frameworks, and ecosystem impacts of FinTech. In the era of AI-enabled finance, this track welcomes work that addresses how AI augments, disrupts or converges with DLT/FinTech, DeFi and the broader societal, organizational and economic implications of this convergence.
