Abstract
This research focuses on the international communication effectiveness of Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) dedicated lines within cross-border e-commerce applications. By analyzing the current development status and characteristics of cross-border e-commerce, and elucidating the technical advantages of SD-WAN dedicated lines, this study conducts a questionnaire survey based on the SICAS model, targeting cross-border e-commerce enterprises and users utilizing this technology. Through an empirical study involving 523 questionnaires distributed to overseas consumers of cross-border e-commerce enterprises and Chinese international students abroad, the findings reveal that SD-WAN dedicated lines yield significant results in enhancing brand perception, facilitating interest-driven interaction, and optimizing connection and communication for cross-border e-commerce. Notably, a significant positive correlation is observed specifically in the optimization of connection and communication. Therefore, to further leverage the role of SD-WAN dedicated lines in the cultural communication of cross-border e-commerce, targeted optimization pathways are proposed. These include consolidating global digital infrastructure, constructing a proactive security defense system, optimizing the allocation of technological elements, and deepening localized embedding within cross-cultural contexts. Ultimately, this study aims to provide theoretical and practical references for the cross-border e-commerce industry to achieve efficient international communication and sustainable development by leveraging advanced network technologies.
