Abstract
Digital media, as an efficient means of conveying and preserving information for humans, has rapidly expanded its application beyond industrial automation due to the highly interconnected nature of content. This paper aims to investigate the utilization of product design methods in industrial projects by employing digital twins as carriers to achieve the presentation aspect of digital twin projects. By analyzing the design requirements of industrial projects and the development trends of digital twin technology, a proposed scheme is presented for applying product design based on digital twin technology. The article emphasizes on integrating construction methods and design approaches within the digital twin system, as well as operational techniques and inspiration for visual end product design, in order to effectively utilize this tool - digital twins.
