Abstract

In this decade, we can expect changes in enterprise information systems that are even more dramatic than the changes in the last decade of the previous century. The changes will have an impact on end-user organisations as well as on suppliers of ICT products and services. They will also influence the number of graduates in ICT disciplines that will be needed and the type of qualification they will require. The aim of this article is to shed light on these changes and suggest how end-user organisations, ICT supplier organisations and universities can prepare for them.
