Abstract
This paper discusses research that has been conducted in relation to online learning websites. Initially, the current situation of Online Learning will be discussed. Results of the analysis of a number of Online Learning websites (such websites include both international and New Zealand websites) will then be discussed in depth. This paper will describe the basic requirements of Online Learning websites, and will provide the reader with website design principles, in order to assist in increasing the effectiveness of an Online Learning website. The benefits and drawbacks of the creation of, and use of an Online Learning environment will also be discussed. In the end of the paper, a few future trends of online learning will be indicated. This paper will provide the reader with a general overview of the current status of Online Learning.
