This study investigated the impact of using Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) tools on students' work efficiency and their psychological well-being, including their perceptions of the value and meaning of their work, the satisfaction they experience, and the perceived threat to uniqueness. In addition, we also explored how the level of expertise moderates such an impact.
