Abstract
The paper presents the application of natural language processing (NLP) methods to detect emotions in Polish texts. Studies on emotion detection in Polish texts are less numerous compared to the English literature, which poses unique challenges for researchers related to the characteristics of the Polish language. The paper discusses various NLP techniques, such as machine learning models, BERT, GPT, Word2Vec, which have been adapted to analyze emotions in Polish texts. It presents the results of empirical studies that indicate the effectiveness of these methods in the context of the Polish language.
