Abstract
Today organizations have at their disposal, a set of different tools in order to increase their processes efficiency, while eliminating waste, increasing productivity and ensuring the quality of the results. Among these tools, we can highlight those that emerge from the Lean Management, Information Systems (IS) and, more recently, tools conducive to the Industry 4.0 (I4.0) concept implementation. Although their different origin, the three concepts have a common purpose – to minimize non-value added (NVA) activities in the process in which they operate. This work presents a preliminary study that uses tools from the areas mentioned above, and whose goal is the elimination of waste associated with the processes, that aims the presentation of a set of production indicators (KPIs) in the context of an industrial company.
