Abstract
This article presents a teaching experience that involves the use of Flipped Classroom Theory with the help of the WhatsApp application, by students of the Project Management and Information Systems Projects courses of the Information Systems (IS) of Institute Federal of Goiás (IFG) Luziânia Campus. A WhatsApp group was created in which the students were able to access the contents made available by the teacher and the students themselves before the classes, which were later worked in the classroom, at the end a research was applied to the students through an electronic questionnaire, obtaining 44 answers. The objective was to analyze the possibilities and potentialities of the use of Flipped Classroom Theory with the assistance of WhatsApp in Higher Education. It was found that the students favored the use of WhatsApp in education, for promoting greater interaction between students and contributing to the collective construction of knowledge
