Abstract

Data Governance was a subject studied by many authors at the beginning of this century, but it was only in recent years that organizations began to give importance of implementing certain policies, methods and techniques, as well as the privacy and confidentiality of their internal and external data. We intend to study about how policies, methods and techniques of Data Governance are implemented in national organizations, as well as the identification of their maturity’s degree in relation to the management of their data, through the creation and development of an instrument of evaluation (survey). However, this paper describes the work in progress about Data Governance, its frameworks, and its maturity.
