Abstract
This paper reports on the development of the ride academic application, which aims to meet the specific needs of the company linked to the Federal Institute of Goiás (FIG) Campus Luziânia. For this we used the Scrum development methodology and the App Inventor tool, based on the needs to be collected in a Google Docs questionnaire. The research has an exploratory character, with bibliographical research and observation. The results showed that the application, when finalized, could help people find possible car rides, making transportation easier and faster, making fuel savings, reducing the emission of polluting gases and promoting safety.
